Privacy Policy

The short version: wasssh keeps your cleaning plan on your phone. There is no account, no sync to our servers, no advertising and no analytics in the app. The only time data leaves your phone is when you buy or restore Premium, or when you choose to export a backup file yourself.

Who we are

wasssh is made by Appivate [legal entity name, organisation number and address to be added] (“we”, “us”). We are the controller for the limited personal data described below. Contact us at support@wasssh.com.

Data stored on your phone

Your rooms, tasks, intervals, completion history and settings (language, theme, reminder times) are stored in a local database on your device. We cannot see this data and it is not sent to us. It is removed when you use “Delete all data” in Settings or uninstall the app.

Reminders

Reminders are local notifications scheduled by your phone. We do not use a push service, and we never receive your notification settings or a device token. You are asked for permission only when you turn reminders on.

Backups

You can export a backup file from Settings. The file is created on your phone and handed to the system share sheet; you decide where it goes (for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or e-mail). We never receive it. Importing a backup reads a file you pick and replaces the data on your phone.

Purchases (Premium)

Premium is a one-time purchase handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. To check whether Premium is unlocked and to let you restore it on a new phone, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. as our data processor. When you open the Premium screen, buy or restore, the app sends RevenueCat:

• a random, anonymous app user ID created on your device (not your name or e-mail),
• purchase receipts and transaction details from Apple or Google,
• basic technical data such as platform, app version, country/store and IP address.

The legal basis is performance of the contract (delivering what you bought). RevenueCat stores this data in the United States under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Apple and Google process your purchase as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

What we don't do

• No account or sign-in.
• No advertising, ad IDs or tracking across apps and websites.
• No analytics or crash reporting SDKs in the app.
• We do not sell or share personal data.

This website

wasssh.com is a static website hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web server, the host processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver pages and protect against abuse. The site sets no cookies and uses no tracking. [If privacy-friendly analytics such as Plausible or Vercel Web Analytics is added, describe it here.]

Children

wasssh is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Because your plan lives only on your phone, you are always in control of it. For data held by RevenueCat, contact us with your request and we will help. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.

Changes

If we change how wasssh handles data, we will update this page and the date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
